David and I welcomed our first child into the world on October 27th, 2008 at 10:57 am. Tyler Joseph Gonzalez arrived weighing in at 8 pounds 15 ounces. Labor was rough! We had a scheduled C- section for Monday the 27th at 7 am however Sunday morning the contractions started and progressively got worse throughout the day so we ended up checking into the hospital at 8:30pm on Sunday the 26th . Mom took the epidural as soon as they would give it to me! After laboring all night we ended up not going with the C-section and delivering at 10:57am Monday morning. It was an amazing experience David and I were able to share. Our little man melted our hearts from the moment we laid eyes on him. David and I are adjusting to parenthood and loving every bit of it. Tyler is such a good baby, super mellow (so far!), and perfectly healthy.
